Our mortgage brokerage services are free in most cases, we get paid a commission from the lender for bring them consistent business. In the rare occasion where fees will be charged, they will be disclosed up front and agreed upon beforehand. Jeff Cassidy<\/strong> was born in England and immigrated to Saint John in 1982. He has been a licensed Mortgage Broker since 1993. After graduating from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he further studied at UBC Sauder School of Business. After two years of working as a broker for The Equity Centre, he opened Cassidy Financial Services, a successful mortgage brokerage company in Vancouver. He has 29 years experience and has completed well over 6,000 mortgage transactions dealing in residential, new construction, commercial mortgages and developer project financing. He moved back home late 2012, started Port City Mortgages, and quickly established it as Saint John\u2019s premier mortgage brokerage company.<\/p>\n

Julie McCrodan<\/strong>, her husband Gavin, and their two teenagers (three if you count their doodle named Rusty) made a significant move in the spring of 2022, transitioning from Burlington, Ontario, to Saint John, New Brunswick. This relocation is a testament to Julie’s adaptability and dedication to her real estate and mortgage brokering profession.<\/p>\n

As an experienced licensed mortgage broker and real estate investor, Julie\u2019s role at Port City Mortgages goes beyond shopping for the lowest interest rates. Through her obsession with continuous learning and her commitment to hard work, you benefit from her experience and dedication to going above and beyond for her clients and being a valuable resource to her partners within the real estate finance space. Julie is dually licensed in New Brunswick and Ontario and can broker mortgages nationally through TMG.<\/p>\n

Julie has completed her real estate licensing through the Real Estate Council of Canada (RECO) to understand the intricacies of Canadian real estate and be a rock-solid resource for her clients and partners. She understands the real estate transaction from start to finish. She has been creatively investing in real estate for over a decade, has personally started a business (or two), and spent years in credit and lending with Mercedes-Benz before being a mortgage broker.<\/p>\n

In her free time, you will likely find her adventuring with her family on a motorcycle or a sailboat or in the backcountry (with a good book, of course).<\/p>\n
